Getting the goods ready for Session Two

We're mixing and ripping everything from our Echo Session Two (informally dubbed "The Hottest Show in Town"), so it should be up in the next week or two. In the meantime, head on over to Knights Knit Friendly's website to buy your very own, limited-edition, hand-silkscreened CD of 10 tunes from Echo Session One. It's truly scrumptrulescent.

Phenomenal...

Even though we might be a little biased, Saturday was one of the coolest music events we've ever been to in the city, much less put together. HUGE "Thank You's!" to everyone that made it all the way out there — it wouldn't have been the same without you. As soon as we can, we're going to stream the results of Fin and Kamara's AMAZING sets right here. We also have some beautiful video shot by John Gutierrez and Sam Mejias to show you, and Craig will be pressing some limited-edition CDs of both sets. We don't know about you, but we can't wait for the next one.

The Echo Sessions begin...

We have some very exciting news to announce. The Periodic Label, Knights Knit Friendly Recordings and Echosound Studios are proud to present a new monthly music series in Red Hook, Brooklyn — the Echo Sessions. Part sonic experiment, part cool Brooklyn warehouse party, the Echo Sessions will be a new series of monthly music events that celebrate and capture the chemistry of live performance, live audience, and live exchange in a unique and cavernous warehouse space in Red Hook. Each session will feature two bands playing for select audiences, and will be recorded live, channeling the magic of the space strictly using old analog recording techniques and technologies.

Sets will begin on time and the doors to the live room will be locked! Please make sure you are in the live room at least 15 minutes before each set begins.
