The Beautiful South

Brothers and sisters, dig the place, dig the pace… The South has been unfolding magically-- from Jackson to Birmingham, the pristine beaches and Spanish-ness of St. Augustine to the ghostly beauty of Charleston, South Carolina… It’s making me nostalgic for my college days in Virginia, where we head soon. The homesick call of NYC is getting stronger, which makes this jaunt through the south even more wistful… And though like a good little girl “I love New York”, I can’t help but think that the very minute I make a million I’ll have to choose between all these enchanted towns for my very own homestead.
In other news, I’ve made my first foray into media-of-the-written-word! Besides this blog, of course… (And I’m kind-of liking it, so expect more!) Check out my Periodic Label Interview with amazing artist Jane Virga on the TPL front page blog! If you’re looking for a mind-blow, this just might be it!

It seems all spacedogs bound by earth go Earl Greyhound… Love, Love, Love the music! Hey see if ya’ll can exercise your full rock star Thursday night and postpone hitting the stage for an hour or so. I’m not sure I can make Charlottsville by 9, Either way I look forward to being rocked whenever I get there.
