The rockers turned out in full force and full regalia this past Saturday at The Troubador in Los Angeles—we’re still recovering from the blinding light the L.A. audience was shining, but we’ll get it together and put up pictures on the Earl Greyhound website as soon as we possibly can—
Yesterday was spent Sunday-lolligagging. We walked around in Los Feliz, my old L.A. ‘hood-- nostalgically (is that even a word?), where my Gordo picked me up in a bar oh so many years ago. Picked up a book, “Play It As It Lays” by Joan Didion, my new crush. Got bashed around by April Fool’s Day pillow fighters in warpaint, one of whom was Peticia from Fawnhawk, she’s another new crush. Laughed maniacally. Ended the night with Ricc’s famous chicken wings and a swirling beauty in the brain caused by two episodes of the epic nature series Planet Earth—I love Mother Earth SO MUCH!!

Hope you can take a break from the LA heat with a show in NYC sometime soon. Love the record, can’t wait to see you guys back home.
